Why Not Flowers
Lughnasa Harvest Wreath Workshop
Lughnasa Harvest Wreath Workshop
Join us at Why Not Flowers for a relaxed evening of wreath-making inspired by Lughnasa, the ancient Irish festival marking the beginning of the harvest season.
Working on a natural vine base, you’ll create your own lush late-summer wreath using a curated selection of seasonal flowers, foliage, grasses and seed heads. The materials will be chosen for the way they dry, allowing your wreath to change and soften naturally while remaining decorative long after the workshop.
We’ll begin with a little of the story and traditions of Lughnasa before I demonstrate how to construct the wreath step by step. You’ll then create your own individual design, with plenty of guidance and help throughout.
No previous floristry experience is needed.
